It reminds me of a couple things: 1) my favorite hall t-shirt in college (the floor above us) that cleverly stated: "I have chosen to be a Calvinist;" and 2) the time I played in a church softball league (and I thought Presbyterians were competetive!). I don't know all the gory details, but SBTS had become infected by liberal theology (non-Theocentric). More than half the faculty left after he was appointed as president (see <a href="http://www.theopedia.com/Albert_Mohler" rel="nofollow">Mohler's bio</a> at Theopedia). Pete, that’s too funny. Our seminary (Louisville Presbyterian) fielded a team there ("The Frozen Chosen"). We should have won the '85 championship. It was pre-ordained, I'm sure of it. But we were robbed by a bunch of Armenians! That's what you get when you rely on sinful human effort to accomplish something. Best to leave it in God's hand and let the chips fall where they may.
