If the G'OS beats Palm to market, then it might be the proverbial death nail in the coffin. My other prediction is that once Google claims the mobile segment, they'll create a desktop OS geared toward mobile companion devices (i.e., like the canceled Palm Foleo, the forthcoming Asus EeePC, etc.). At that point everyone better watch out!
