Yuengling Comes to Chatt-town

You can now get beer from America’s oldest brewery right here in Chattanooga. No more stocking up on our annual trips to Pennsylvania! However, I have not yet seen anyone carrying their best beer–Yuengling Porter.

  1. I know. I was at the store on Sunday and had to pick up a 12 pack. I was in shock when I saw it. They only had the lager and not the black and tan. We got a chance to visit the brewery a few years back, which was a lot of fun. They used to sell it in VA, and I would stock up every time we went. Have you seen the Black and Tan anywhere?

  2. I just looked at your flicker image. The walmart in Hixson only had the Lager. Where was that picture taken? I did not even know they had a light beer.

  3. They have the Black & Tan at the Bi-Lo in St. Elmo, where the picture was taken. I almost picked up a 12-pack, too, because the only Black & Tans I have at home are in cans (not by choice…they were leftover from our family reunion). I like the light lager, but it has a little bit of a bite that your typical Bud Light drinker might not enjoy.

  6. @Chris: I seem to remember leaving a six pack in your fridge. ;)

@Mandi: I know…more room for other stuff, like Tasty Kakes!
