New Amsterdam Gin

I picked up a bottle of New Amsterdam Gin today — the first non-grape distilled spirit from the folks at Gallo. It reminds me of Tanqueray No. 10, only a little less refined. Did I mention it was less than half the cost? Good enough for sipping.

  1. This is the poor mans Tanqueray or Beef Eaters. Was available for a short time in zip 53092, now almost nonexistant except in 5ths in a very few markets. Anxiously awaiting the return.
