My favourite blog at the moment is livingwithmusic.com.

I think your blog would look better if you tried a one column layout, something along the lines of garrettdimon.com (before or after the recent redesign).

I look forward to getting the invitation to virb, it sounds like a very useful site.

Thanks.

My favorite blog is gorillavsbear.net because it's a music blog and one of the best. I also enjoy 3hive.com

As for your site I don't have any complaints. The layout is smooth and I like the colors.

@Shawn: I haven't had much time to play with it yet, either...been on vacation for the last several days. Hopefully by this weekend I'll have a better feel for Virb.

<blockquote post="916">It would be cool to see some customization to the footer.</blockquote>

I like you're footer suggestion. I tried mirroring the header, but am running into an issue with getting the text to align to the bottom. I think I can hack the K2 footer.php file and make it happen, but I'm trying to pull it off with CSS only so that I can upgrade the core-K2 files more easily. I'm also thinking I'd release this as a K2 scheme if I can get it worked out.

My favorite type of blog is one that covers the sector in which I'm interested. GigaOm and TechCrunch are good examples of this. They are consistent with how often they post and in what they post. In short, I can trust that they'll be there when I want them there (early morning when I'm reading my feeds).

Making your blog better? Perhaps you can get plugged in at Godbit.com?

Best blog type would be simple and clean. At least that is the way I have always liked it. Almost minimalist. Kinda like:

.. and it is not a bad blog either.

On a semi-aside: I'm not into social networks either but I do like Virb. I haven't had a ton of time to play around with it but I like what I've seen so far. No pop-ups and no adds. No slime. It's great.

My favorite site right now is a newer blog being written by a good friend of mine, David Sliker: <a href="http://www.heisatthedoor.com/blog" rel="nofollow">His Hand is on the Door</a>. There is some incredible insight into life and seasons.

I am like the new site layout. The header is excellent and, I like the linkage icons on the bottom of your sidebar.

It would be cool to see some customization to the footer. And I know you dropped feedburner, but I liked your stats counter. It was cool to see your feed subscriptions jump from 4(ish) to 30(ish) since your 9rules induction.
