Not Vista Ready

Posted: 02.01.2007 in Technical

My PC is not capable of running Windows Vista. I am not surprised, since it was purchased in March 2002. I am not chomping at the bit to upgrade to Vista (probably better to wait for SP1), but it does so happen that my PC is aging, parts are starting to wear out and my hard drive is almost full. Descisions, decisions… [i.e., cheap Vista laptop vs. pricey Leopard MacBook]

  2. Just curious, and since I can’t edit my comment, what ASO plan do you have?

  3. I have the small plan, which runs $5 a month. So far it has been WAY better than my previous host, but then again it’s all a matter of reference point. I hear that MT is not all that it is cracked up to be (yet my perception was that they were the best).

The edit comment plugin is not working correctly in WP 2.1. There’s a fix posted in a thread on the developer’s site, but I’m too lazy busy to mess with it (waiting for the official release).

  4. Well, (mt) had me until their Grid Server was complete rubbish and they don’t support django, which is what I’d like to move into.
