First it was the image ads. Then an observant reader noticed this text ad. Unless Google can come up with a way to allow more user control over ad content, I am done with AdSense for good.

Google isn’t the only ad service out there. And no, I am not talking about PPP or other paid to post services. And yes, you can have control.
I know they’re not the only one, but they are still one of the most popular and easiest to implement. Hence, newbies are probably the most likely to flock to first. Hopefully, people will read this and reconsider AdSense. I do plan to scope out other ad options in the future. Text Link Ads (TLA) is one that I’m considering.
