No Team Worthy

The Onion is reporting that “no Division 1-A college football team was found to possess the sheer excellence required to face Ohio State.” While the article is farsical, the idea behind it is *so* true about the Bowl Championship Series.

  2. I love reading the Onion, because there’s often a lot of truth/social commentary in the jesting. The quote from Meyer is classic, where he says, “I can certainly see why no one who votes in the BCS wants the national championship to be decided by a mere football game.” Also, the part about Notre Dame is funny, too. They are dearly loved by some, and vehemently hated by others…there’s no inbetween. :)
