In a show of solidarity for Ben of Open Switch, who is getting grief for changing themes (again), I decided to run a new design here on Transformatum for a couple days. What you see, The Literary Life, is not a theme but a skin. The WordPress theme underpinning it is Sandbox (a theme for themers). Please note that a couple pages are rendered irrelevant until I switch back to K2 (e.g. WordPress and Archives). I like this theme, but I am not sure it is me. However, I might use it for a blog that I am setting up for a friend.

- @ibachphoto Yes, it was. They are clearly 'over' people. 'Under' may not look as nice, but it's more efficient. in reply to ibachphoto 9 hrs ago

honestly.. i don’t think it is you.
What!?! Are you saying I’m not academic enough?
What the heck is this? I think I got off on the wrong floor.
yeah, not really you.. nice, but not you. It’s not the books, since I know you to be a reader – it’s more that this looks like the site of an English professor, a retired psycologist or an LSU professor (too many fleur de lis).
Well, things are back to normal. I couldn’t STAND it anymore! However, I did spend about two hours making some tweaks to another theme called Autumn…perhaps you saw it. Single column. Orange, red, grey. It’s for a blog about hymnity.
I think I missed it.
. Oh well, thanks for the support
. I catch heat each time I switch themes. And each time I change themes I always think to myself “This one is perfect. It’s so me.” In fact, that’s what I think about the Cutline theme I’ve got up right now. Still, I think the 3k2 looks great on you! and your header images ROCK.
Thanks Ben! You’ve got great content, so don’t worry about the heat. Change seems rougher on the readers for some reason, but you and I both know it is harder on us (all those late nights staying up editing templates). That’s the real reason I’m not switching themes! Maybe, maybe…I’ll do my own original design someday.
