Finally Figuring Out Flickr’s Features
In case you had not noticed, I have been posting a lot of pictures to my Flickr account lately. Until recently, the last time I used it was over a year ago (the first time I used it). I wish I had known these Flickr Photosharing Tips sooner.![]()

You should check out Flagrant Disregard’s flickr toys. John is a great photographer (he also runs photodoto.com) and those toys are so much fun. Thanks for the link to the photosharing tips. Unlike social blogging, I really am into social photography.
Yeah, I don’t know why I haven’t taken advantage of Flickr. I don’t mind using Wordpress to post a single photo that is relevant to the article, but on the family blog I often want to reference photos later. Flickr is a great way to organize them and publish them on the blog.
As for the social aspect, I’ve been really surprised how many hits some of my photos have gotten on Flickr. Whooda thunk it?
Flickr is a great assest to me but I’ve lost some use for it since most of my family is techno-shy.
Yeah, as a pull form of communication it doesn’t work with techno-shy folks. I’d have to send messages to my family every time new photos were added (i.e., push communication).
However, some of my family (mine and my wifes) use computers a lot. They just don’t keep up with the blogs. Of course, maybe they do more than I think and they are just comment-shy?
I suppose I should ‘push’ them more, cus dem puters shur make tings easy’a
