Where Did the Comment Links Go?

Posted: 01.22.2006 in Uncategorized

The answer is nowhere. Just click on any of the titles and watch what happens. To go to the permalink page click on the “Full Entry” link. This feature is powered by Ajax (a form of Javascript), which allows portions of the content to change without refreshing the entire page. I may just keep this for my Asides (e.g., mini-posts), but for now it is implemented on everything. Thanks to Colin for the source code and tutorial. And by the way, I guess I am reneging on my statement about not tweaking the site before K2 for WordPress is final.

Update: I moved the comment link next to the title. The rest of the post info (date, time, category, etc.) is still hidden until you click on the title.

  1. Hey, I saw you on Colin’s site. I wanted your help on your fix for the if is_home or is_archive thing.

I can’t get it working, and I don’t know why.

    http://www.playground.pixelpolarity.com is where it’s at.

  2. Like the new look. Although, I still think you should consider 45 RPM from Zen Garden…

  3. Kyle, I emailed you. If you haven’t figured it out yet, then send me your theloop.php file. Otherwise, I could take the stock file and send it to you with the “if home/archive” part inserted and see if it works on your site.
