Golden Globe Winners were Witty
I only watched the first hour of the Golden Globe Awards last night, but I must say that I did not quit for lack of entertainment. Have the Hollywood elite begun hiring comedy writers to prepare their acceptance speeches?
Well, if Steve Correll is to be believed and his wife did write his speach, then technically, he did have a comedy writer writing his speach. (It was v. funny.)
Yeah, that was a really creative speech. I also enjoyed Geena Davis’ speech. She had the audience going and then hit ‘em hard.
